In a building used for temporary occupancy (anti-squat) that houses several small businesses, Karski (Roy Valk) from MooieMuur created a mural for the communal entrance. This colorful artwork has transformed the shared space, offering a unique welcome to both visitors and the entrepreneurs based there.
An entrance serves as the first point of contact with a building. Especially when multiple businesses share a property, it becomes a space where various people cross paths every day. A mural can give such a functional area a distinct character.
For this project, Karski brought his signature style to the entrance of the building. The mural turns an ordinary passageway into an eye-catching space, demonstrating how street art can make a real impact even inside a building.
The project for VPS was facilitated by 3110 B.V. and executed by MooieMuur. It serves as a great example of how a relatively small intervention can completely transform the look and feel of a shared space.
Could your entrance, office space, or commercial building use a splash of color? MooieMuur is happy to help you develop a mural that perfectly suits the location and the people who use it.
