At NLB "Your partner in piping," Karski (Roy Valk) transformed a bare office wall into an eye-catching feature full of character. After a previous successful mural at their Amsterdam location, it was now time for their site on Moezelweg in Rotterdam.
The execution/work preparation department was ready for an inspiring space. The gigantic white wall offered the perfect canvas for artwork that represents the company, but in Karski's distinctive artistic style.
The result? An impressive artwork of a welder and fitter, so lifelike that employees sometimes almost mistake them for real people. The mural not only serves as a visual anchor in the building but also directly tells the story of NLB's expertise in the piping industry.
Customer testimonial from Stefanie Schulze:
"We've been in this building on Moezelweg in Rotterdam for four years already. And although we truly love sterile white walls 😁, we still felt that the execution/work preparation department could use a bit of atmosphere. An inspiring space, you know.
Now we had a gigantic bare wall left, so we thought: why not a mural? In our Amsterdam location, we had already commissioned such an artwork by Roy Valk aka Karski in the stairwell 5 years ago. It's still admired by everyone – and perhaps also used a bit as a landmark ("Oh, you need to be at that wall with the painting").
The subject of the painting naturally had to relate to our work, but in Karski's characteristic, artistic style. And it more than succeeded! The end result? An impressive image of a welder and fitter, so realistic that we've already said "Good morning!" to the wall a few times. 😂
The reactions? Super positive! Our staff is wildly enthusiastic, customers love it, and our social media has had a small explosion of likes and comments. 🔥"
