Tribute wall henny pleizier museum straat 

At the heart of Sportcentrum Pleizier in Amsterdam-Gein stands an impressive mural commemorating founder Henny Pleizier. In collaboration with STRAAT Museum, KARSKI created this special commission with personal involvement.

The mural, titled 'Legacy', celebrates not only Henny's athletic achievements as a talented judoka and trainer but also embodies his ability to bring neighborhood residents together. 

KARSKI, known for his vibrant color combinations and dynamic style, designed a unique visual composition honoring Henny's legacy after conversations with his family and colleagues. Each element in the artwork was carefully chosen to symbolize Henny's passion for sports, community, and togetherness.

The work now adorns a large wall in the center of the sports facility - the perfect location to commemorate the man who founded the center in 1990 and remained its face until his unexpected passing in 2022.

It provides a lasting reminder of Henny's impact on both top athletes and ordinary neighborhood residents who were inspired by him to engage in sports.
